7 Ways To Reinvent Yourself….

Are you sick and tired of the same mundane life? Are you searching for and wanting more?  Here are 7 ways to reinvent yourself and create something that will forever last and perhaps become what you have always dreamed about.

1. Connect

with the scope of the internet now what used to be confined to just out circle of relationships can be spread to just about anyone.  Use this to your advantage.

2. Be Generous

I don’t mean give away money and give away time.  Be generous with your ideas.  Blog for free, write for free, give your art for free.  Don’t have the I give this and you give this back attitude. People who are supported by others and have something to give have the ability to create a movement and deliver items of value.  Your hobby or passions can become your sustaining life of income. Powerful!

3. Make Art

Not a painting per say or a poem.  Art is making something with no boundaries from your own mind to share with others.  Art is the human mind creating the un-created. Art is the human ability to make a difference. Create and share.

4. Acknowledge the Lizard

The lizard is the part of the brain that does not want us to fail.  So it prevents you from making art. Be aware of it and destroy it at all costs.

5. Ship

Not literally ship a package. We can all do that. Ship in this case means to make something happen.  Many can talk, many can talk about what is good and bad, many can have ideas.  But not very many can ship (actually make something happen) If you have the ability to ship anything you will separate yourself and make yourself an extremely valuable individual in society or in your job.  People just don’t make things happen anymore. The lizard brain takes over on this. COMBAT it!!

6. Fail

You want me to fail!? Yes you just fail in today’s society.  Without failure you won’t learn and if you are afraid of failure or public humiliation you won’t ship.  You must accept failure as apart of the process because eventually something will stick. Fail with grace.

7. Learn

Don’t learn by being schooled on a subject.  Being skilled in one trade won’t do you any good today.  Learn by creating art and shipping.  Then do it again. Then do it again.  That’s learning.  Discard what you think you know and learn what you need to learn every single day!!
