Asking For Permission

October 27, 2010

When we have a good idea or something we really want to do/try we always sit down and talk to someone about it.  ”Hey what do you think of this idea or this thought.”  This is counterproductive because someone else’s opinion will instill doubt and fear.  They will tell you that you must change or tweek one small thing, or that you should do it slightly different or worst of all they will tell you it won’t work at all.

We then go back to the drawing board and taylor it trying to make it perfect to meet our needs and now others’ needs.  Don’t waste the step of asking for permission.  Just do it how you want to do it and do it right now, right this second, TODAY.  Don’t let doubt or fear set in because someone else might not see things exactly how you see them.

This is your idea and your project.  Do it how you want to do it and how you see it.  We need people like you to create and be unique.
